I wanted to try out my Inktense Pencils, and I reached out here with a bit of collage in the middle of the garlic head with the roots: some handmade paper I found, plastered on with Gel Medium and then scribbled on. Some of the pencil, especially the shadows, were either regular PrismaColor or Turquoise plain old graphite pencils (both not water-soluble, unlike the Inkense Pencils).
Here's my result:

Very nice !
I came here from Tina's Creative Side. I absolutely LOVE the gray, black, white, and multi-color quilt!
You might enjoy my sister's blog, Doodling in my Mind. (Darla Royal) She is a watercolor artist. Lately she's doing a small "painting a day".
The garlic reminded me because she just got red and white onions out of my mother's garden that she intends to paint! (Well, she won't paint the onions themselves, but will use them as a subject!)
